Review from Musica Jazz, October 2013, Issue n. 755 For his new album, Liuni assembled a quartet of well-known musicians to make music entering the electronic dimension of fusion with evident references to traditional electric jazz. Liuni's melodic sense develops within original well-structured pieces that maintain their identity while giving ample space to improvisations by the soloists, especially the soprano sax and guitar whose striking solos reveal consolidated artistic and professional experience. The precision and solidity of the rhythm section and the colors and moods created by the keyboards, which set the tone, create a finely woven tapestry, even if based on well-known traditional styles.
